This project examines the patterns of student migration from Kerala to higher educational institutions across India. It explores the socio-economic factors influencing student mobility and analyses issues of access, equity, and inclusivity within higher education. By studying emerging trends in student migration, the project seeks to identify structural challenges and provide evidence-based policy recommendations aimed at strengthening inclusivity in the higher education system.

It focuses on changes in family support systems, regional demographic variations, and emerging social challenges associated with ageing. Through empirical analysis across selected urban and rural regions, the study seeks to generate evidence that can inform policy discussions on demographic change and the development of sustainable social support mechanisms for the elderly.
